But one attraction you should not miss is the ENGINE 14 brewery, a firehouse-themed beerhouse located at the Finger Lakes. It offers its visitors some great beers like Cream Ale, Oatmeal Stout, and many other beers on tap for tasting. It is owned by Greg Borden and his wife- Kate. Greg Borden formerly worked in Rochester Fire Department, had his vision of building a brewery that felt like an old firehouse. He always had a passion for craft beer and home brewing. So here he is now. All he needed was a perfect plan to open a microbrewery, search for a fantastic location, acquire some required equipment, and finally set up the beer factory. He had also found and purchased an old fire truck from Rochester and placed it there. All done!! And finally, he has fulfilled his vision of a firehouse-like taproom.
