"This place is a go to when visiting Algoma! The garage doors leading into the bar area are very cool. There is a large area with picnic tables outside. They have a variety of beers on tap, including wines and ciders and very friendly staff. Can't wait to stop back in!"

"We ended up stopping in 3 times during our stay and enjoyed it every time. We met some wonderful people sitting out on the beer garden. My husband, the beer drinker, and I loved the atmosphere. I enjoyed Von Stiehl cider that was available there as I am not a beer drinker. It is nice that there are options for people who just don’t like beer."

"Stopped into town to see the parade during Shanty days and had a few beers as a group at the brewery. Everyone enjoyed what they chose. Servers at the taps were super nice. Picnic tables outside were a great venue. We didn't eat or buy any merchandise, so this rating is just for the beer. Recommend"

"I'm not a beer drinker, but I've always loved the funky, cozy Ahnapee Brewery. It recently moved from its crazy little garage location to a bigger building with a nice patio and a view of Lake Michigan. It's not quite as funky as the old place, but it's very nice. The patio is relaxed and dog-friendly."

"24June23 attended a wedding ceremony today. The wedding took place at Potawatomi State Park in Sturgeon Bay; we drove down here for the reception. The party provided a food truck for the meal. What a glamorous idea! Staff serving our drinks, was extremely helpful and grateful for us to be there. Thank you!"
