"This place was the reason we went to Portland. We were not disappointed. There are other breweries in the park here but this one is awesome. Fun atmosphere, great beer selection, as well as wine and cider. The food from the food truck was great. The place is pet friendly and has a kids play section. However, there are tables away from the kids area if you want a more relaxing vibe."

"The Allagash tour was fantastic. Our 30 minute tour with our guide Adam was long enough to enjoy and learn about the Allagash story and facility but not so long that we got antsy. The beer we got to try along the way was a fantastic touch to our experience as well. Adam and the other staff were extremely knowledgeable and passionate which made our experience even better!"

"Allagash has been masterfully brewing Belgian-style beers for decades now, and that seasoned experience comes through strong in their product. You don’t need to go to the brewery to enjoy this fine-tuned craftsmanship, but if you have the opportunity to visit, I highly recommend going. Also, be sure to bring your appetite - they’ve got a great food truck permanently parked on site with decent food, including a tasty and reasonably priced (by New England standards) lobster roll. Logistical considerations: Allagash checks IDs at the door, so be prepared upon entry. Also, they close somewhat early (8 PM on the weekend and 6 PM most weekdays) - plan accordingly!"

"We visited the brewery recently and we had a transformative experience! While it was my third time there, so much has changed since the last time I visited and it was an amazing first visit for my husband! Given how pleasant and gracious our welcome was to the brewery, it should come as no surprise that the entire staff was a genuine pleasure to speak with and treated us so nicely. We really couldn’t have asked for a better time. All expectations we had were surpassed. The tours were spectacular and the way everyone knew our names was super cool. Just an all around amazing experience! The bite into Maine food truck served amazing food. I’m vegan and got a veggie burger and my husband got a lobster roll which he said was the best one he’s ever had. The beer on tap was delicious and the outside area is really nice."

"My boyfriend and I are from Philadelphia and came to Portland for the weekend. Allagash was absolutely amazing! The drinks were great. I loved the cider and the sours😍 And the Bite Into Maine food truck is delectable. The lobster rolls were a 10/10 and the pretzel with beer cheese is a necessity. I loved everything about it here."
