Anthony Road Wine Company, a family-led winery in the Finger Lakes region on Seneca Lake's west side, has deep roots dating back to 1973, when Ann and John Martini moved from Baltimore, Maryland, to Yates County. Despite no prior agricultural experience, John joined Cornell's Experiment Station in Geneva and began growing grapes on five acres, initially supplying Taylor Wine Company. By 1990, the Martinis officially launched Anthony Road Wine Company, and today, it thrives as a multi-generational family business.
With three vineyards now under the Martini family’s care, Anthony Road Winery continues to expand its offerings, from wine dinners and pairing events to weekend food trucks featuring local vendors. The winery’s scenic views and beautifully maintained grounds make it a popular, relaxing destination for wine enthusiasts traveling the Seneca Lake Wine Trail.
