"Great selection of locally crafted beers and other options. Always a friendly crowd. Owner is very knowledgeable. You can get bags of local produce on Thursdays (From Warren Brother Farms). We love this place! That said, I miss the outdoor seating under the trees and playing Foosball and table tennis."

"Excellent beer, amazing baked goods (pepperoni rolls, cinnamon rolls and the muffins - all tasty and baked on site), great environment and the friendliest staff makes Brewery 99 my favourite small business in the New Bern area. I go here to work in the mornings with my laptop to get a coffee and a muffin, and I come back at night with my wife for our date nights to get a beer or some food when they have food trucks outside. Highly recommended."

"Enjoyed the pepperoni rolls and 3 fantastic beers here. Great location, super dog and family friendly, and we loved the open concept and the atmosphere. Pete is amazing—very friendly and welcoming. This is one of the breweries we have visited where the beers are true to the advertised style. The cask IPA was one of the best beers we’ve tasted, and it was great to see a cask beer and hand pump in the US. Pretty decent wine selection also for the non-beer drinkers! Bakery products are delicious!!!! Can’t wait to return next time we visit New Bern!"

"I had to visit the 99th licensed Microbrewery in NC. Nothing extraordinary about this one though. They had about 15 taps. Ample seating but little in the way of parking to accommodate their capacity. Big Es Hot Dog truck was good too."
