"My husband and I were looking for a fun date to celebrate our anniversary last minute and lucked across the Bright Penny.
You can order at their bar or use your phone and a QR to access their menu and order directly from there.
We chose to share a flight of deviled eggs and, yall, as a southern girl raised on my grandmother's deviled eggs, let me tell you - they've created an unexpected set of flavor bombs with their eggs. We had Harriet's, Josephine's, and Karen's eggs. I would eat those all day long, no joke.
We also shared the chicken bacon Ceasars pizza and it was delicious- the chicken alone had so much flavor, the pizza crust was thin and crispy. *chef's kiss*
We brought 3 pieces of the pizza home and fought over themater that night lol.
Neither of us drink, but we enjoyed Diet Cokes with our meal and we're entirely content.
There is a lovely interior to enjoy, with large screen tvs, a side patio with tables and chairs, as well as a beer garden.
The space was originally a flour mill, so the wooden floors, structural beams, and base atmosphere are all aged and gorgeous. It's a lovely spot, family friendly (we were there on mother's day and several families with children of varying ages were dinning the same time as us), and we'll head back with our own kids soon!"
