"I’m really disappointed to have to leave this review. This place has been one of our favorite spots over the last few years but the last few times we have ordered take out the food has been sub par, specifically the onion rings. They are my favorite thing on the menu and they have switched from batter to breadcrumbs so now they just taste like any other onion ring. They have taken a lot of our favorite items off the menu, lowered food quality while upping the prices. I’ve been pretty disappointed and at this point don’t want to return. Not sure if there is new management, but if so i’d really reconsider the changes that are being made."

"Great onion rings! My daughter, her friend and I went to Mid-Town today. They went to Bub’s & Rita’s for Italian ice and ice cream. I stayed back at Fork & Ale for an appetizer. Andrew was my (our) waiter. The girls came over and I pulled up a chair and Andrew brought over two more glasses of water. They left and went for a walk. I received my order. The onion rings were the perfect crispness and the rings split nicely when pinched. They are battered on the spot and were probably the best onion rings that I have ever had. They came with a side of creamy horseradish. Andrew was a great waiter. He gave you plenty of time between walking by, but came by often enough to keep your water topped off. He works construction by day and waits tables by night. Stop by Fork + Ale and give them some business on the slowest days of the week (Mon, Tues, Weds). I’m sure they would appreciate your business any time, but I’d guess that it would mean more those days or off rush hours. Tell Andrew that I said hi! 🙏"

"Wonderful pizza experience! We bicycled down to Midtown this afternoon and decided to stop off at Fork + Ale House for a bite. We ordered the Classic Pizza with green peppers and onions. I’ve been making pizza for years. The Fork + Ale House pizza crust is amazing. Crispy on the bottom, light and fluffy on the inside. Toppings were perfect. I found out that their brewmaster has been making beer professionally for 10 or more years and just won an Indy award for their Fork + Ale Pilsner. If you are into lighter beer, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try! My absolute favorite is their Hopping Hound IPA. Their Amber is really good too! Those are the only three I’ve tried."

"Chicken wings are smoked then fried and are really good (tip: order them extra crispy, dry rub with your preferred sauce on the side) as well as their fries. I've consistently had good food and service here but I'd recommend double-checking your bill before cashing out."

Dining with my husband and special friends, we experienced a delightful evening filled with excellent food and warm hospitality for all of us! This gem of a restaurant effortlessly combines a cozy, inviting atmosphere with an innovative and delectable menu that caters to every palate & offers reasonable prices. From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming staff made us feel right at home. Despite it being a very busy Sunday, the service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, and the staff was knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations, providing swift service both indoors and on the outdoor patio, welcoming to both children and four-legged family members, making it an ideal spot for whole families. We began our culinary journey with the fried pickles and a delightful Brussels sprouts dish. The fried pickles were perfectly crispy, offering a satisfying crunch with each bite. The Brussels sprouts were a standout, cooked to perfection crispy as well, and bursting with flavor. For the main courses, we sampled a variety of dishes. The fillet mignon, ordered medium-rare, rivaled the quality of Ruth’s Chris Steak House, with its tender, juicy, and flavorful meat. The pulled pork dish was equally impressive, offering a rich, savory taste that left us wanting more. The salmon was another hit, cooked just right: flaky and tender, and served with a delightful citrus glaze and flavorful, creamy mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Lastly, the Hawaiian calzone was incredibly appetizing, with its blend of sweet and savory ingredients wrapped in a perfectly baked crust. The ale selection was also noteworthy, with a variety of tasty options to complement our meals. We couldn't resist dessert, and we're so glad we didn't! The chocolate lava cake with vanilla bean ice cream was a decadent finish to our meal, leaving us thoroughly satisfied. Moreover, the owner went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and timely, personally checking in with us to make sure we were having a great experience, which is testament to their commitment to excellent Overall, Fork + Ale House offers a fantastic dining experience, with high-quality food, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere.
