"Sweet Mother of Jesus, a brewery that opens at 8am! We were driving from Chatt TN to Nashville, looking for something to eat and drink, and my wife found a Google listing for Common John. Surely they were jesting…a morning brewery? But it was true, so we hit “Start” and followed Google the rest of the way. Seeing as we did not want a full meal, we grazed lightly. My wife ordered a hot dog with chips, and I noshed on a huge Bavarian Soft Pretzel. Our server was kind enough to let us order off the lunch menu even though it was only about 9:30. They were both excellent! I ordered a flight of four beers, with a wide variety of varietals in the set. It is so typical for craft breweries to either be top-heavy in one category, or strong in one and weak in everything else. But Common John is not common…they knocked it out of the park on all four beers I tried, which included a Vienna Lager, an Imperial IPA, a Pale Ale, and a Black Ale. And then I spied the 64-ounce glass growlers they stocked, and knew I had to purchase a souvenir (I have 320+ of them from all over). It was at this point I stumbled into a consumer choice problem, because all four were excellent. I eventually settled on the Damage Control Pale Ale, which was by a nose my fave of the four I tried. This is a great place, and if I lived in or near Manchester, I’d be here all of the time. Even for breakfast."

"The wife and I visited for the first time. It was comedy night. The show was ok. Before the show the outdoor stage had a good country singer. The outdoor eating area was very nice and clean. Small children were enjoying the evening with us. The age of the crowd was 20’s-40’s with a few older. Most seemed fairly affluent. The menu was limited, we had the flat bread pizza. It was good and didn’t break the bank. Lots of craft beer on tap. Service was slow, it was a busy night. The restrooms were clean. We will be back on a less busy night to compare."

"Awesome atmosphere! Great drinks and food. Did take a little bit to get the food but it was worth it (busy Mother’s Day, so understandable). Fun spot to hang out!"

"What a fantastic spot filled with delightful people! We were caught in a storm with our dog, who gets really anxious. She wasn't her best self but the staff were so kind, gracious & understanding. We had some great beers, and the food was also stellar! Looking forward to making it a regular stop when in the area!"

"This place is awesome! We stopped by on our way through town and will definitely be back. The staff (including the owner) was super friendly and helpful with food and beer advice. Their brews are all delicious but they have lots of taps of other good beer, too. The pizza was wonderful, and the pretzels and angus hot dogs all hit the spot. The facility is very cool and super clean. There is an indoor stage and an outdoor stage with a variety of seating options. I highly recommend visiting!"
