"UPDATE August 2023: We've been going to Craftboro regularly for several years and are impressed every time. Beers are delicious. Staff is friendly and helpful. They DO fill personal growlers; many other places will not. UPDATE July 2020: Craftboro continues to excel. The variety and quality are better than any other local brewery. Excellent customer service and genuinely friendly staff. The owner is a legitimately nice guy who seems to enjoy talking to customers. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Wide variety of beers, all brewed in house. Have tried everything except stout (don't care for stout in general) and all were delicious. Most breweries have like two or three truly good beers, but ALL of Craftboro's varieties are excellent. Atmosphere is cozy in winter and pleasant and airy in summer. OK to bring in pizzas from the place next door."

"I don't want to brag, but... I've been to a LOT of bars and breweries in my life and, well... Craftboro Brewing Depot is AMAZING! It is my favorite bar/outdoor patio area in Carrboro and among the best bars in the Chapel Hill area! With amazing beers, a convenient location, wonderful outdoor seating, and SECOND-TO-NONE customer service from Jason and Amy, Craftboro Brewing Depot is a MUST-VISIT spot! ESPECIALLY if you have a dog, it's VERY dog-friendly with a fun social media dog presence to match! Jason and Amy are so warm and friendly while their beers are so cool and refreshing (except the ones that aren't supposed to be as cool, but they're still certainly refreshing... unless they aren't supposed to be as "refreshing" but more like full-bodied and full of hoppy goodness or whatever... just know it'll taste GREAT). Their COVID protocols are both thoughtful and safe and make for a really safe yet comfortable atmosphere... so as far as that goes, I could NOT disagree with the reviewer Brian more who frankly just sounds like a hater, tbh. The Tessera and ESPECIALLY the Mukimono are personal favorites on the menu, but you can't go wrong with any of the choices! Carrboro isn't known for much *yet*, but if I was a betting man I'd put down my life savings that Craftboro Brewing Depot will be what Carrboro is known for before long!"
