"Crooked Hammock Brewery, you deserve high praise! The atmosphere is fantastic, the food is excellent, and the drinks are always delicious. Most importantly, you're incredibly kid-friendly! Since moving to Middletown last November, we've only managed a couple of outings without the kids. But after discovering your backyard beer garden and kid playset, we knew this would be a spot for the whole family. We visited last night for dinner, and the kids were thrilled! They ate, played, made new friends, and mom and dad actually got to relax and enjoy the food—no more scarfing it down! The setup is brilliant. This was my third visit, and the experience has always been top-notch. The staff is great, the food is consistently delicious, and the drinks are refreshing. The kids now have a favorite spot, thanks to your amazing backyard. My only suggestion would be to add fence netting to the back fence post to prevent little ones from slipping through toward the stormwater management pond. It’s a bit nerve-wracking seeing unattended children close to that area. Kudos on creating such a wonderful place for families!"

"We stopped here on a Sunday morning on the way down to Ocean City because it was halfway and we wanted to let the kids out to run around, and it was perfect. The ambiance and setup is great and very family-friendly. Backyard BBQ vibes with picnic tables, firepit, even a playground for the kids, and of course some hammocks. The beers are great, we tried a few and they all delivered. The cocktails were good too. The food menu is solid and everything we got came out very good. Whatever they're doing with their fries is amazing, definitely try those. Overall a really great spot, wish there was one in NJ that we could go to!"

"I think I’d give it a 4.5 but I can’t do that on Google. My first thought was “cool atmosphere”. You walk into the place and just enjoy the environment. It was busy on a Saturday night and we still didn’t have to wait. Our food came quickly and we liked it, but the chicken was a little dry and the bun wasn’t top tier for the price we paid. It’s pricy, but I’m not from the area and it might just be because of the location. Also, the plate we got from the server for the appetizer was dirty and we had to turn it back in to the kitchen."

"The atmosphere was amazing the moment my husband and I walked in. We were told there was a 10 min wait which isn’t out of the ordinary for a Friday night. However, they have a small shop at the front of the restaurant where you can look for cool clothes and picnic coolers while you wait. We were seated after only maybe 2 minutes of waiting and our waiter was amazing. Abraham was very nice and he checked up on us frequently. He recommended a few new items on the menu and they turned out amazing. The Pineapple Express wings are unmatched and surprisingly filling. Will definitely be back again for more great food and superb service. Also, we got some ales to go and can’t to try them!"
