"My husband and I always drive by this restaurant every time we go out to Rochester. We've always been interested but never had the time to stop. We decided to stop this past weekend and I'm so glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great as well. We had the spinach artichoke dip and it was probably the best I've ever had. It came out super hot and it was just very cheesy and indulgent. I then got the Tennessee honey chicken sandwich and my husband got the bee farm whack on a pretzel bun. Both of them were absolutely amazing!"

"Received a WNY beer passport as a gift and figured we would stop in and check out Eli Fish Brewing. The place is beaming with history and has a fun vibe to it. From the old school tile work and furniture pieces, to Edison bulbs and some cool décor. You can also learn more about the lore of Eli Fish himself. They have a nice selection of brews. We sampled a few and settled on a couple favorites. We were not there to eat this time, but saw a lot of tasty plates pass by. We sat near the front window and caught some sports on the TV. The chairs were relaxing and the tables in this area, featured some game to play while killing time while relaxing, or as you are waiting to be seated (cribbage, shut the box, trivial pursuit etc.). Eli Fish was busy the Saturday night we were there but the place is large (deep) and they do a nice job of handling traffic flow, with a substantial line never forming. Bonus. They have glasses (all types, styles / sizes) and other apparel for sale. Some cool stuff! UPDATE: Return trip did not disappoint. Still the same great location."

"What a great place in Batavia - service was great, flight of beer cold and so refreshing, sandwhich was delicious. I thought the space was amazing, staff was friendly and attentive, tho not overly so. Would travel back to the area, just to experience this brewery again."

"I can’t say enough positive things about this brewery! I didn’t think that such a place existed, let alone is Batavia!!! Honestly the best brewery (or restaurant) I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to A LOT! I would absolutely travel just to enjoy dining here again. The bar tender Jayme had a beer in front of us within a minute of sitting down… was knowledgeable and pleasant to chat with :) Beautiful atmosphere that was clearly well thought out! Hats off the chef and kitchen staff because whatever you did with that burger was magnificent… best I’ve ever had!"

"What a place to get some excellent brews and food. They deliver quickly, and it was all delicious. My only regret was not being able to try everything. 1911 has a raspberry hard cider among others, That will blow your socks off if you don't care for beers. I had a nitrous Scotch ale which was pretty dang good. And I judge scotch ales hard, and the "Norm!" after which is a kolsch, also great! Go there, place is huge, Alex behind the bar is a gentleman and a scholar!"
