"Attended the grand opening which was quite crowded. It was a two hour wait in line to be served but the weather was nice and so were the others on line. Six beers were on tap, with a food truck in the parking lot for this special event.
The taproom has a fair sized seating area with tables that will be good for bringing in a pizza or other food from outside while you enjoy their beer.
On tap for the grand opening they had an amber, IPA, saison, porter, coffee flavored porter, and they also passed their amber through a randall filled with fruit.
The IPA was my favorite, with a good balance of malt and hops, not overdone with hops like is common with craft IPAs these days.
The amber was good, but I would have liked a little more copper malt to boost up the maltiness a bit. Similar opinion with the porters, I like an almost syrupy porter, so would have liked more malt in each. Otherwise they were well balanced.
I definitely will be a regular customer and look forward to seeing how the beer list and recipes evolve over time.
Update Feb. 2022 - Attended the anniversary in the new larger location in Randolph and added a picture. A lot more seating and a lot more taps allowing for a larger selection of brews usually.
Update Apr. 2022 - Grab the Brown Ale and support Ukraine. A portion of the sales go to Ukraine charities.
Update Mar. 1 2024 - The new Barrel Room is a great addition to the brewery with a private space for up to 70 guests."
