"First visit here. We walked past a birthday party, which is awesome. We each had a taste of our beers and then ordered them. Both the Bass Stout and Red Ale were yummy. Another table had a mix up in the food order and offered us what would have been a duplicate of seasoned french fries. We were thankful for these and will likely order next time. They were a compliment to the beers. Restrooms are clean. Heads up, the overhead music is loud."

"My husband and I were headed to Michigan from North Carolina, and he went out of the way to get to Fretboard even though we were also pulling a travel trailer. What can I say? It is that good. "Where to begin?! The inside of the tap room is super cool. I've been to many breweries over the years and they nailed the inside. High ceilings...games...open...plenty of tables and bar space...and the bartenders were super friendly and prompt. Offered their advice on what to try and with so many options, I started with a flight since it was my first time here. I highly recommend a flight if you're a first timer. I then ordered from the BBQ joint inside called Smoked Out and Holy cow was their Flying Pig amazing. I've never had a pulled pork sandwich like that and the fries were super hit and seasoned perfectly. Paired perfectly with the brews. I can handle a little IPA action so I chose to try their Bootsy IPA and was not disappointed. Crisp...citrus...and just enough of IPA to compliment this summer day. I'm only in town for the week but if I'm ever back in the area, this would be a go to spot for sure. Don't hesitate...check this place out and enjoy!"
