"First time going! And ate half of my chicken and and noticed the inside was not cooked. Was pink and slimy texture. Asked the waitress if it was suppose to look like and she replied uhhh nooo. She Took my plate.. They did give me 9 dollars off my meal. Waitress was very nice! Left very hungry though! Not sure if we will be back! Hoping I don't get sick! Edit: decided to read reviews! Read alot of reviews stating food wasn't cooked all the way! Better get this fixed before someone ends up deadly sick!"

"My wife and I have eaten at Half Moon many times and the quality of food, service and overall experience can vary. Everything isn’t always great, but I like to accentuate the positives, and our most recent visit was all good. We didn’t have much of a wait time to be seated even though they were fairly busy. We had loaded potato skins and very tasty rolls with butter as appetizers. We shared a Cubana sandwich with sides of cole slaw, chips, and a sweet potato with honey butter and brown sugar. Everything tasted delicious and the service was also good."

"I sat in the bar area because I was alone on work travel. They had a taco Tuesday special so I ordered a pork, brisket, and chicken taco. All were very good. Add good service and it was an enjoyable meal."

"First off, Lala is an amazing waitress. I loved her whole vibe. She stayed up on drinks and made sure we had everything we needed. She gave us recommendations. My husband got the Half Moon beer sampler. She gave us a sheet so we knew what was what. They had several options that we could do. The rolls were really good. They gave us a whipped honey butter similar to Texas Roadhouse's, but not the same. The artichoke spinach dip was really good. For our meals we got the Smokehouse Combo with 4 meats. The smoked sausageand chicken were delicious. The brisket was DRY and was more like a roast. The ribs were tough and dry. I'd pass on those two. We got mashed sweet potatoes and the sweet corn souffle. The mashed sweet potatoes were great. The corn souffle was basically mayonnaise and corn. I wasn't a fan of it. We, also, had the Half Moon burger. It's freaking HUGE. It's a burger you are going to want to cut into. There is no way you are picking it up with your hands and taking a bite with the burger fully intact unless you are Zach Edey. The onion ring on it was so good. Perfectly done. Pulled pork was great. The homemade chips were done well. I like mine to be a tad thicker, but they were not overly crispy. Got the Bread Pudding to go. It was good just didn't hit my bar to the Old Country Buffet bread pudding. Our youngest got a mini corn dog and Mac n Cheese. He loved it. Check came and all this was $80. Expected to spend a lot more for what we had ordered. Took home the majority of what we ordered because the portions could feed a family of four. Anyways, definitely should check it out."
