"This is a very good brewery. Not only did we enjoy the selection of beers but the food was very good as well. We went to four microbreweries when we were visiting the area and this one was at the top of our list! Great service as well. Highly recommend!"

"Hillman Beer Taproom has several locations. The Asheville Taproom is on Sweeten Creek Rd just outside of Biltmore Village. It's very convenient while being out of the busy metro areas of Asheville. There is plenty of parking in a gravel lot next to the building. The Taproom itself is open air with 'indoor' and outdoor picnic table seating with large shaded areas. When you arrive step up to one of the cash registers to order (food and beverage). Beer is given as you stand there with food being brought to your table once it's prepared. We had a short wait to get our food. It was surprising to see so many people bringing their dogs with them but it is very dog friendly with dog bowls available to give your pet water. I ordered the Hefeweisen and enjoyed it's clean refreshing profile. They have a nice selection of beer to choose from for every taste. We also order a Reuben and a Cuban for lunch. Both were delicious and was more than enough to fill us up I did go back up and request a fork but the place is laid back so not a big deal. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and dog loving."

"We absolutely LOVED Hillman Beer!!! Awesome vibes, great food, and even better beer. We ordered the Four Fat and Wampa Wit for drinks and both were delicious. For food we got the Reuben, fried chicken sandwich and kale salad. That was the best Reuben we’d ever had and the kale salad was incredible! Nate and Emily were wonderful bartenders and gave us the best recommendations. We will definitely be back again soon!!"

"I have to rave about how friendly the staff was here. Everyone we came in to contact with was so nice and helpful. The beer selection was great. The have flights available which we did to try many of their beers which they were great. They offer food and it was delicious. Tons of seating inside and outside and they are dog friendly. Free parking lot on premise with lots of parking. They also have beer to take with you."
