"Hop River has great beer and food, and I love the atmosphere. It's great for the family, or hanging out with friends. I especially enjoy going there when the Ragtag Bunch performs. It's a great venue for it."

"Visited for the first time on a Saturday and I’d say the brewery was about half full. Waited about 15 minutes at the bar to be waited on to get a beer and order a pretzel. There were only two bartenders taking beer and food orders, and running food out. I really enjoy their IPA, but I don’t think I’d come back. The pretzel was more of a biscuit, not a pretzel. Cheese tasted powdery."

"Easy to find just north of downtown. Solid amount of parking to be had with plenty of signage. Friendly people greeted me as soon as I walked in to this huge space. Multitudes of tables and a very long - easily 50' - bar that overlooks the brewing area and the 20 taps of in-house beer. Lots of board games to help you pace your imbibing and food is available, as well. The beer is very good, among the best in the area. Music is too loud, intrudes on conversation."

"Cool local brewery with a good selection of beer and food options. The location is in an old building outside of downtown with a pretty cool vibe. Lots of outdoor seating and a good amount of indoor seating as well. We tried a hazy IPA and a sour beer and liked both. For food we got the pretzel and chili tater tots. Both were about average for brewery food. Bonus points given because they are family friendly and have a dedicated kids menu. Always appreciated for us beer loving parents!"
