"We waited for a host(ess) for a while, unsure where precisely to wait. Two waitstaff walked by us in no particular rush without addressing our wait. When a host finally showed up there was no explanation for the wait, no pleasantry, just the question, “for two?” Then straight to gathering things and checking electronics then “follow me”.
This visit was on a Wednesday, so perhaps a lil sluggishness is to be expected.
Our waitress, Miranda, was very pleasant and handled our orders wonderfully. I appreciate her friendliness and work ethic.
The food was ok, not great. Again, perhaps not up to par, being on a Wednesday. However, the wasabi was a discolored glob with oddly playdoh-like texture and the ahi tuna was a lil off-color and not nearly fresh. Medium-rare steak was a bit too cooked and could use a bit more freshness. Mashed potatoes were fine, a bit clumpy and dry. Salmon was..ok. A bit dry, but otherwise cooked fine. Orange creamsicle milkshake IPA was pretty good.
Overall, I wonder if service and food would be better on a weekend, but my only reason to return would be to see Miranda again."
