"A step back into simpler times. A beautiful Inn that shouts History and quaintness as soon as you drive in! The rooms are nice, comfortable and clean. The front porch is a perfect place to enjoy a glass and a conversation as you sip and rock as the town slowly goes by. The general store next door is a country five and dime and worth a look around. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall, a great place to stay and would definitely recommend."

"I was concerned since the place was built in 1797 that it was going to be loud and outdated but it was lovely! It was clean. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. The staff was so nice. I came for work but if I come to the area again, I would definitely want to stay here. Highly recommend."

"We did an overnight here this past weekend and had a really nice stay. The Inn is obviously very old, but it's also very well taken care of. The place was warm and inviting, and it had a very cheerful vibe. Enjoyed the tavern and beers they brew there as well. Hope to stay again sometime."

"Beautiful old building but the beauty of the rooms stops there. I would not recommend staying in the historic inn. Bed had not changed since the Victorian period and was extremely uncomfortable. Bathroom fan ram the entire night and never turned off. The downstairs was very welcoming and the staff was very friendly though. It would have been nice if any of the fire places were lit. Very good good, but limited menu."
