"Summer season review of the Beast of the East: We came here for the Spartan Race that took place in September. What a beautiful resort. The parking lot was a decent size but I can see that it can get full real quick during peak season; people were parked down the street and at a different location, they had to take a shuttle back to the ski resort. This is the biggest resort in the East and it has 6 mountain peaks and the steepest vertical drop in New England. It is the second highest mountain in Vermont. During the winter, they offer winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding; during the summer they offer 45 miles of hiking and mountain biking. They even have an 18-hole golf course. They have the terrain for all skill levels, bunny slopes to double black diamonds. There eateries throughout; it's located at the bottom and top of the mountains. Bear Mountain was where the Spartan event took place. There are lodging and restaurants nearby. I look forward to visiting again in the winter!"

"For those who aren't fans of extreme activities like skiing or snowboarding, an alternative option is 'snowshoeing.' This guided tour at Killington Resort offers a short hike around the base camp through the trail with a nice, friendly, and knowledgeable tour guide who leads us through the beautiful landscape of Killington Ski Resort. We found it undeniably beautiful. They provide all the equipment needed for exploring the Killington mountain and guide us on how to correctly wear and use it. Then it's time for a little adventure. We started from the base camp area, which is steady, and gradually increased the slope up the mountain covered with white snow. We enjoyed our time there, and it was truly a great experience."

"The slopes of Killington was a lot of fun. Ladies with wide feet, rent your gear from a location with more variety. Their boots fit my husband and son great. They did not fit me at all. Arrive as early as possible. The first ski lessons (when you pay for lessons) start promptly and last for a few hours. If you're new to skiing, or it's been a couple of decades, schedule lessons. You won't regret it. The onsite restaurant is fine. Food is like a generic, expensive food court. They do not accept cash so you're required to put your cash on a debit card to convert to digital money. No refunds so the amount you put on the card can only be spent at Killington. I'm not opposed to that policy, just beware before you convert. The slopes are beautiful. The Magic Carpet up to the Bunny Slope was a fun experience. I hope you all enjoy your time skiing at Killington!"

"Went in as the snow season is ending. Overall good experience considering the temperatures haven’t been optimal for quite a few days. Many lifts and trails are still open although most are very icy and some only have thin cover. Not complaining but fell a couple times due to snow conditions. The tunnels and overpasses are fun. Also, first time having ramen in a ski resort, which to my surprise, is actually pretty good."
