"We always enjoy our experience at the Great New York State Fair! This year, we visited the butterfly garden for the first time. We enjoyed baked potatoes, a hot beef sundae, and a maple ice cream cone! We participated in rides but purchased the bands during pre-sale to save some $$. Overall, the experience is what you make it and we had a great time!"

"Way more fun than a county fair. So much to do. So many food vendors. And the concerts are great. If you have never been, make a point to go. Great for the whole family. If you have a long travel get a room from the numerous hotels less than 12 mins away. Weekends tend to be hectic, but during the week you just drive right up to the closest parking lot, and then let the fun begin."

"I had an incredible time at the New York Fairgrounds! The atmosphere was vibrant, and there was something for everyone, from thrilling rides to delicious food options. The grounds were well-maintained, and it was easy to navigate between different attractions. The variety of events and exhibits was impressive, showcasing everything from local arts and crafts to agricultural displays. It's the perfect place to spend a day with family or friends. I can't wait to go back next year!"

"Great prices of the fair itself and had lots to offer. I would say it was over crowed and lots of unorganized lines while waiting for bus transfers for off site parking. I also had a really hard time finding the tickets for rides. I enjoyed that they had lots of free activities for family friendly things to do. Some of the activities included connect four, looking at animals, dinosaur facts and walking around looking at them, and shows like kids bop kids to name a few."

"Expansive grounds with many buildings for agricultural exhibits and competitions. It was our first time at this State Fair and it did not disappoint! Lots of different foods, fair rides, games, and musical acts. The bathrooms were well cared for (had attendants in every one we went to). We're glad to have made the trip here this year!"
