"As an international business traveler who's had the privilege of dining on some of the finest burgers around, I must say, North Country Brew Pub in Slippery Rock, PA deserves a spot on my best-of-the-best list. While motorcycle touring through western Pennsylvania, I found myself in a "hangry" state and decided to give this place a try. I opted for the Black 'N Bleu burger, seasoned to perfection, encrusted with cracked peppercorns, topped with sugar-glazed peppercorn bacon, and adorned with a heap of blue cheese crumbles—pure bliss. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service attentive. While I enjoyed their stout, it didn’t quite blow me away. Still, it paired well with the burger, which was truly the star of the show. Overall, North Country Brew Pub is a great spot with quality food and friendly service. I would definitely recommend it to anyone passing through the area."

"The place was obviously way less packed when we came in between lunch and dinner but the staff still were fully there. Our server (Cameron) was kind and generous, was willing to engage in conversation, wanted to make sure we enjoyed our experience, and overall just enjoyed his job. It was amazing to see him be as devoted but as someone who enjoys good food and drink I also would obviously care about what they served me and my fiancée. The burgers were phenomenally paired together with juicy patties along with great tasting ingredients to sandwich it. The beers were phenomenal and we literally find the only beer my fiancée will drink yesterday. This is a must stop if you are in the area and seriously a great place for 20s singles and early relationships. Great job!"

"Made reservations for 4 on Sunday 4/14/24 at 7:30pm. Arrived around 7:25 and found the hostess station unattended with a wait to be seated sign. We waited for about 10 minutes without any service or acknowledgment. Walked up to the bar to ask to be seated . A server seated us and was very unpleasant and told us our server will have to help us with our drink selections. After she left us with menus we waited another 10 minutes (across from the bar) with no service. Nobody was seemingly working and they were far from busy as there were many open tables. The manager was unable to fix the situation and clearly was not in control of the staff. This is my second time here and both times we received extremely poor service or none at all. Skip the waste of time and find another place to eat and drink because you surely can’t sustain on aesthetics alone."

"Great, laid back microbrewery in Slippery Rock. We had the wings with Hot Garlic and their ale BBQ sauces. Full wings and they were great. Try flight to sample all their beers. Recommend reservations...not many places in town. The men's restroom has a keg for the urinal...haha"

"I was just a fly on the wall. Longest "dining experience" ever. Checked in at front desk, had about a 10min wait which wasn't too bad, but then I was placed at a bar table. Due to the wait I was expecting that I could have a regular table...alas none were available. It took about 20 minutes until my server noticed that I was there. No water. She apologized for missing me, but then "missed me" 2 more times. To get in and out took almost 2 hours. She was clearly overwhelmed. I blame the check in for putting me in an area which was no man's land for servers. I blame the restaurant for poor management and not enough servers to cater to the crowd. I ordered the wings and the burger. Both were just ok. A little overpriced but one of the only decent dinner options in this one horse town. Side note, I unknowingly arrived for open mic night, which was fun, but also a bit disorganized. People literally sat at my table and put their stuff there as if I was invisible or just a fly on the wall. I would recommend the Thai restaurant across the street for a less chaotic and more timely dinner."
