"Brewery that is a touch off the main strip in Salem but worth the extra steps towards the water. The space is open and welcoming. The beers are good and the staff is friendly. Seating inside and outside. Limited menu (but good) and when we went there was a good truck you could order at. If you see the big robot mural you are on the right path👍😁"

"We went to Salem for a weekend escapade and we were so happy to find this brewery! After all the walking we stopped for a beer. They let us taste a few before we made our selection! The outdoor area is spacious and has water view! Clean bathrooms and friendly staff! We did not try the food but beers were pretty good. 👍🏻"

"What a community place. We were a group of 2 adults a 20 year old and a 13 year old. The servers helped us with both our beer and food choices with expert care and understanding. I was recommended this place from people in the UK, so it has a reputation and it did not disappoint. The cheese board, pretzel bites and perogies were outstanding. And what a special selection of well made, well looked after beer. I will be back. No, we will be back."

The brewery offers mostly Czech and German style craft beers, each brewed with care and attention to detail. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, always willing to recommend a new brew or answer any questions. Plus, the spacious taproom provides ample seating, making it easy to find a spot even during busy times. Unfortunately the weather did not allow us to enjoy the outdoor seating. Keep in mind that they do not sell beer flights. Overall, Notch Brewery and Taproom is a fantastic spot to unwind and enjoy some great beer in Salem."
