"The location is really out of the way, but worth the stop. Bartender was great - friendly, helpful and accommodating. Beer was very good and the Baladin Italian sodas were nice."

"This is a top rated brewery in CT, the quality of the beer is excellent. This isn't one of those run of the mill breweries trying to fill restaurant seats. Their focus is producing quality beer. It backs up to the Larkin Bridal Trail."

"I've been meaning to come here for years, and it did not disappoint. I've been told it has grown, but such a great space surrounded by greenery and woods. Plenty of outside seating, and the interior is welcoming, naturally lit, and comfortable. Lots of beers to go priced super low for today's markets ($12-14). Entrance can be deceiving, but so love as you look for the entrance sign you'll be ok. They've branched out far beyond the sour roots, and I loved the MaiBock, and the latest version of their experimentalis (strawberry!) Definitely will be coming back Try the Aether (Brett sour). It's very impressive!!"

"Fantastic beer selection, although no IPAs. They have a great game selection in the back room with many board/card games! It’s a nice atmosphere for hanging out or even some dates. I would recommend coming here on a rainy day (or sunny) to hang out!"

"I would say OEC is not only the best brewery in CT but among the four or five best in all of New England. Sours and lagers are their specialty, but they are making great English style ales as well. Lovely location and fantastic service. Also, excellent cocktails! Really a gem."
