"If you’re driving too quickly you might not spot this hidden gem. I can’t believe I’ve lived in the area for as long as I have and this restaurant was new to me. Located in Acton, MA, it offers a very unique feel where comfort fusions amazingly with the traditional. Although I do not know much about the history of the location of Rapscallion, you notice that they kept the “homey” feel of the original house. The architecture is there and they make great use of it offering private rooms for your party. We were in a large group on a Thursday evening, without a reservation, and we’re able to be accommodated, but I’d suggest you call in advance and ask about having a reservation. The set up indoors was perfect! Service was awesome! Our group tried and shared a variety of apps and main dishes and ALL the food was absolutely delicious! I know this may be seasonal, but if you can try the lobster grilled cheese, please do! I’ve never had anything like it before, and the truffle Brussels sprouts melt in your mouth. I certainly plan to go back in different seasons to try new things and hope our favorites remain available."
