"This was a great find! We were making rounds of a few new places for a birthday, and stopped here first. Absolutely the best brewpub I've been to in a long time, as the best stop of the day. The selection of beers is great, from dessert beers to heavy dark brews to IPA and things that can't be categorized... You will have to come back multiple times to really experience it. The atmosphere of the place is whimsical and inviting, do not be put off by the "industrial" area that it's located in. This is a family friendly place, with a handful of bar-games like shuffle-board and corn-toss... You will feel comfortable spending time here. I wish they had more food options, but they do say BYOF (bring your own food) and I think that gives more options anyway. I will absolutely be going back for trivia night and updating later, this is very much worth the trip."

"Finally made it to Fitchburg... the whole initial reason was to come visit Ryver Styx brewing. This was no disappointment. Of course to each their own, and I would totally understand if someone found the artwork too dark/morbid (I mean, it is named after the river of Death...) but to me this is the most beautiful tap room I have seen thus far. The artwork is simply amazing... plenty of playing around with the art and the location with some mise en abyme, just loved it! The art does not stop there, they have their own mini river Styx boats for taste flights... just awesome. :) The staff was lovely and very pleasant to interact with. Of course the beer was very tasty. Got to try 15 beers or so. I enjoyed their lighter summer stuff, but I am a bigger fan of their stouts and stronger winter offerings (just personal preference). While more and more craft breweries open by the week... I would highly recommend this micro brewery to anyone! 👍"

"We tried this place out last night(Sat) and we really liked the laid back atmosphere and the most amazing multi artist artwork collaborations dressing up almost every inch of the tap room/bar. The hanging lanterns lighting from the industrial style ceilings cast the warmest ambient flickering glow inside. While the outside seating area had strings of lights blanketing the customers above head creating an almost romantic chill feel. Inside they had a variety of games to play, from cornhole to table shuffleboard, various board games to giant Jenga! The bartender was great, very attentive and charismatic to boot! They had a great entertainer that had an amazing voice. They are dog friendly, as well. I only wish that they had a bit more of a selection when it comes to their brews. I would say that about 75% of their brew options were IPA’s. The other options were a sour brew and citrus and berry brew which were good but not something I, personally could drink more then two of because of the sour. I really wish they had at least a few other options to perhaps appease others in the crowd, like a few Hefeweizen ales, some lighter lagers, or maybe some great local ciders. I feel it might bring in more customers that are those type Brew fans, but also could potentially keep customers there longer because they would want to have more brews since it is a kind they prefer. Also, got food would have been really great! I do know that they do have food trucks on occasion so we will have to try those next time. Great place, we will be back!"

"Great brewery with a good selection of brews. The games were fun and I like how it's family and dog friendly. The theme is really cool and the mural is awesome! If you're into the craft beer scene I'd definitely check this place out! 🍻"
