"The legendary Southern Tier! We made the pilgrimage from NH for a Niagara Falls weekend, and made the extra drive to Lakewood for a night. Loved the atmosphere of both the brewery and distillery, and of course the beer is as good as it's ever been. Great outdoor vibe with live music and really good food as well."

"Great indoor and outdoor venue with, in addition to outstanding beverages, really nice selection of food which did not disappoint. I highly recommend the pretzels. The hot chocolate stout was on nitro draught and while it was Memorial Day weekend and nearly summer, it was delicious and a good choice. Their cocktails in a can are a must try as well. Pick up a pint glass for $5 while you’re there. The rock garden in the back behind the music venue is a beautiful little walk about."

"A NEED TO visit brewery, conveniently located in Lakewood NY! I highly recommend going early and signing up for a tour to get the full Southern Tier experience. We went on the tour and our guide was great. She was knowledgeably, friendly and energetic! A great 30-minute walking tour of the facility and history. The building is deceivingly large, multiple times during the tour we thought we had seen the whole facility to then again be surprised with another large room. With our pre-tour and post-tour samples (which are included in the tour ticket cost) we got a chance to experience both tasting rooms. While slightly different in style and layout they are thematically the similar. Both are cozy without being overcrowded. The downstairs tasting room features impressive timber framing while the upstairs tasting room was slightly more modern, matching the brewing equipment it views. If that’s not enough room for you, they do have a large outdoor space to take advantage of the nice summer weather. The staff was very friendly, approachable and helpful. If you suffer from indecision at the bar, they will help you find the right next beer to sample. Come with an appetite because the food is great! We had the nachos and soft pretzels. Finally, when its time to leave, you can get a 4 pack or growler to-go too hold you over until your next visit. I will be back again."
