"Small portions and the chips were mushy, but most of all the girl working the takeout (NEW HAVEN) , was super unfriendly and certainly has a bias toward certain professions / people. ( very obvious) . The first time I went there it was the same person and gave her the benefit of the doubt. However, when I returned, I was treated the same way. Needless to say I will not be returning and letting fellow coworkers to stay away from the NH location. Totally unacceptable, especially in that line of work. Treat everyone equal regardless of their profession and/or ethnicity."

"I’ll be honest, being from Alabama, I didn’t expect much from barbecue here. The ribs were great. The chicken was good. The Texas sausage was ok but that was probably just personal preference. The sauces were good (sweet and Texas pepper). I also enjoyed the Cole slaw and baked beans. My wife had the baked potato with chicken and Mac and cheese. She had to send the first one back as it was cold and no chicken. But the replacement was good. Those were good as well. We were a little confused about the breweries. There was a Black Hog Brewing and a Nebco Brewing listed on Untappd. We only found the Nebco. The Dogzilla IPA was fantastic. Our bartender was good when we had her attention but was sometimes hard to get her attention. Overall I would recommend."

"Very small portion sizes. It is one thing for the meat to be small but even the sides. Burnt ends were amazing and so are the Mac and Cheese. Staff were great! I ordered 3 meats and everything was $30 but not worth the quantity."

"There’s good and bad here. Let’s start with the bad. The food is very mediocre at best if being totally honest, though given there isn’t much BBQ up in the north east, it’s ok. The moink balls were bad. Just tasted like unsalted meat. No flavor at all. Most of the meats came out of a warmer, with the exception of a bunch of briskets they had on the counter but unfortunately everything was rather cold. The guys behind the counter seemed to be more interested in chatting than serving. Here’s the good. Great atmosphere. Tons of tables inside, and a massive patio outside. The cool thing about outside is many Adirondack chairs around fire pits. I liked the set up where you walk to the counter to order then get a table. Smart. Deff a neat place to grab a beer. The sauces were very very good. They even offered warm sauces at the counter. Tons of solid beer options, with a full bar. It was very clean inside with one exception…. My only other major complaint was the nasty mold that covered the piping system which was above the brewing equipment in the entry way. Not good."
