"My husband and I stayed at the Maxfield Inn for a weekend and greatly enjoyed our stay. We’re super thankful to have run into the owner as much as we did. An incredibly kind and knowledgeable person who certainly brightened our visit. We loved learning about the history of the now Maxfield Inn. The charm of the building was preserved through years of careful restoration. The location was also excellent for walking to Inspire Moore, Naples Brewing Co., Caruso’s Cafe, and the other great business in town. Can’t wait to come back!"

"Amazing house full of history in a wonderful little town!!! We came to Naples for an anniversary weekend getaway and we had an absolutely lovely time. Wayne, the owner, is very passionate about the work he has done on the house, and provides a very thorough and informative tour, along with stories about the various residents of the house from over the last 200 years. He provided a delicious breakfast to us both Saturday/Sunday and shared the recipes from his cookbooks. I could not recommend The Maxfield more highly. We will definitely be back soon!"

"Wayne was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the house’s history. The rooms were nice but everything had a thick layer of dust on it and cobwebs on the ceilings. We paid extra for a third guest and each room had one bottle of water. The Inn is advertised as a B&B and it was only after examining the website it said it was $40 extra. The listing on the Air B&B said that breakfast was included. He did have apples, peaches and coffee but it is very misleading for the price of a one night stay. Also the street noise is excessive so bring ear plugs."
