"This review is unrelated to the beer because that is pretty good. This review relates to the experience. My wife and I visited the brewery with our dog. I confirmed with the owner that they were dog friendly through email. He mentioned he had a cat, but did not say anything about that being a major concern. He just advised to bring the dog around to the back.
We complied with the owner's request. However, a bit into our visit I was getting some more beer. I called my wife up to try some. As soon as she got to the bar with our dog, the owner's cat jumped off a table and attacked our dog. The cat pounced on our dog's face. Fortunately, I was very quick and I grabbed the cat before it could harm our dog. However, I did not go unscathed. The cat scratched me in numerous places causing me to bleed like crazy. The owner asked if I was going to sue him.
So, apparently this is not the first time the cat has attacked a dog and, subsequently, harmed a customer. The owner told me, after I had been attacked, that his cat ripped apart a woman's legs.
I advise you not to tell people who are dog friendly if your cat is going to attack them. One of the best parts of all of this is the owner still charged me for the beer. Really? Your response should have been "The beer is on the house."
So, do not bring your dog to the brewery unless you want it to be attacked."
